I think this is a good idea! HIGH^5 Ivan *smiles*
They get Guest*.users.undernet.org on connect, this immediately hides the IP of the user, then Services messages the user to login, you log in (manually or via a nifty client script), then your host is changed to your username.users.undernet.org. If the client does not reply within say 60 secs?, the guest* is dropped, and your permitted to join/chat as you please as your real ip. The condition here is that you can not join a channel/send msg's while you're a Guest* or are dropped within 60 secs automatically of your guest* host if you just fail to login or if you send a reply back say /msg services nomask ? then you get dropped as Guest* and you can irc as you please. This also gives other Services further time to scan for proxies/trojans and the like within this 60 second bracket? Probably not achievable in the short term, or probably not even feasible, who knows, but *sounds* nice.
