Yeh, recently I saw a BBC-documentary about it, and there one dude
claimed everything about religious rituals, without having any good
evidences...
Dunno the "truth", but curious I am... ;)

Yeh, one scientific research about genetics say that our ancenters were
europeans more than ugrians...
Very interesting series of articles was at a finnish "new age" magazine
Min Olen (I Am) - almost everything form finnish ancient history has
been wiped out by swedish (following the good rule: conquer, and destroy
their history so they don't have identity of their own). There was
presented some interesting conclusions, like some 'mighty nation from
east' what can be found from viking-tales, and some old russian history
writings having info about Finland that doesn't exist swedish versions
at all...
I don't remember that story, but the writer said that kings of england
had their ancester-line from Finland!
Some of those old myths describes ancient finns as "sons of gods", and
Vinminen as "the great mage"...

If you're not afraid of "new age", get into library and read the story.

yeah, I'm an energy healer myself, but how should it be "proven", in a
lab placing my hands over a voltmeter: "Okay, give us constant 3 volts
for 15 minutes, and we consider to believe you!" (Unless you actually
manage to do it, we say that meter was broken...) ;)

...or just something absolutely new technology that can take you through
time/space/dimensions... like at these new quantum-physics observations
- one particle can exist simultaneously in two places, that's 'old news'
already, but also those particles can travel backwards in time... and
what's next...?

If you think another 'civilisation' that's 100 years 'ahead of us', what
technology they might have? Not very long ago Jules Verne wrote how
we'll shoot men into moon with a huge cannon...

...not kidding... think about that as quite huge gap between one
generation...
