        Yep, but FONT tag is not "unknown" to HTML4, it's just "depricated",
ie. you should not use it but if you use it, an HTML4 compatible browser
should parse it (because of backwards compatibility).

        Well, one can argue with that, but at least if one wants to customize
the user view, one should also take time to test it on different
browsers on different platforms to be sure that it works on them as
expected and if not, to make it work.

        But then you can't use relative font sizes which is bad for people who
can't read the trendy 1pt Verdana you want to put on the page anyway..
