Surely sendmail reeled when thusly spake Tommy Hilfiger:

> actually i bet we would be frightened to find out how many people simply
> stare through the 3 min of commercials. i can't imagine why to do that,
> except that on several occasions the commercials can be more entertaining
> than the crap you're actually watching...

reality check: the shows are just something to fill the spaces between ads :-0

in the US, when there's 35 channels, when the ads come on, I start changing
channels. I don't understand people who get irritated by this, they'd rather
leave the commercials on, blasting bogus bullshit into their subconscious.

my buddy's tv is cool. you can set a timer on the remote control, and then
if you click it when the ads come on, you can surf around the other channels,
but then when the timer runs out (like, 60 seconds) it brings you back to
where you started. a very handy feature. I'm surprised the RIAA hasn't
sued to have it removed, bcos you know, when you don't watch the commercials
you're stealing the program.

there's always maggots with lots of money and political power who want to
take every cool new thing and use it to push the same old garbage at you.
