I'm going to try to learn a bit about how to do this with Gradle. I expect our
set up will be unusual, and I am open to changing it. We already violate
Gradle's abstractions pretty badly (I think "don't reach into another project's
sourceSet" is one basic one) so I'm willing to do it more.
