[~JoshuaMcKenzie] can you run the microbenchmark {{ant
-Dbenchmark.name=ByteBufferAllocationBench microbench}} on your Windows machine
from [my
branch|https://github.com/snazy/cassandra/tree/8714-row-cache-jemalloc] with
{{jemalloc.dll}} in library path? I mean, if jemalloc-win32 via JNA is faster
than the ”stock” malloc, it's a reasonable option.
