[~dcapwell] made a valid comment that the rename was breaking change in 4.0.
I am pulling the rename in a separate ticket to decide on backward
compatibilities, etc as I don't see a reason to delay the rest of the cleaning
pending on those.
CI stands, I can revert the rename on commit if the rest is fine.
