Thanks for the detailed review — fixed in the latest update:
- added native cache invalidation after successful `DROP TABLE`
- changed cache invalidation to use `realCatalog()`
- preserved `CatalogException` in `BaseCatalog.getTable()`
- only invalidate when a table is actually dropped
- reduced `invalidateTable` visibility to `protected`
