[~busbey] Any Avro should be able to be converted to JSON. I'm not sure that I
understand the question "what kind of json is the expected output?" Are you
asking what would be the 'schema' of the output JSON? The output should be a
JSON representation of the same hierarchical structure.
Specifically, my intent is to use Avro's GenericData.toString(Object) method,
which converts an Avro record into JSON.
