Joseph Percivall commented on NIFI-1206:
----------------------------------------
This change makes it so if people select a group of processors/ports (using
shift drag) that happens to contain a connection then the enable/disable
buttons are not selectable. This could be inhibiting for operations people if
they are used to selecting multiple processors/ports using shift drag then
enabling/disabling them.
I don't have any operations experience so I can't speak to whether or not that
is a use-case that comes up a lot. If someone else could chime in that would be
awesome.
> UI icon for disable/enable becomes selectable when a connection is clicked

> Without anything selected the enable and disable icons are not grayed out
> slightly and clickable. When a connection is selected those two buttons are
> then made clickable. When I click on either button it correctly gives a
> pop-up with the message "No eligible components are selected. Please select
> the components to be enabled and ensure they are no longer running."
