Matt Gilman commented on NIFI-1206:
-----------------------------------

Currently, the buttons are activate whenever there is any selection. When the
user clicks, we filter the selection for elibigle components. If we move this
check to when the selection changes, we can activate the buttons whenever any
portion of the current selection supports enable/disable. This should yield
more intuitive behavior that is expected while retaining the ease of use folks
are used to.

> UI icon for disable/enable becomes selectable when a connection is clicked

> Without anything selected the enable and disable icons are not grayed out
> slightly and clickable. When a connection is selected those two buttons are
> then made clickable. When I click on either button it correctly gives a
> pop-up with the message "No eligible components are selected. Please select
> the components to be enabled and ensure they are no longer running."
