I have no objections to this, but if it fails once there's a good chance it
will fail for every record - so i would offer 3 options: Route to Failure, Log
Warning, Ignore - the last 2 meaning that it will continue to success but for
Ignore we don't even log it (or perhaps log at debug level?) because we don't
want to flood the logs with WARN messages
