I agree with the suggestions above the it appears to be something that should be solved at the peripheral side (SPI here, could be other) with an option to not use a pin. I'm not really following why do you need more than that or why it needs to be at runtime. I personally think that compile-time assignment of pins this way can be limiting but it is how NuttX works for everything now and until we can make a global improvement we should follow this model everywhere. ---------------------------------------------------------------- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
