Yes Alan, I agree this tradeoff needs to be evaluated carefully.
My main goal here is to reach a consensus with the community on the
practical
direction for NuttX. Bluetooth is a very large area, covering security,
performance, driver integration, host protocols, profiles, testing, and
different build modes, so it cannot be solved by one person or one PR alone.
I really appreciate your patience and the feedback from everyone. I hope we
can
find a path that works for the current NuttX use cases while still leaving
room
to improve security isolation and Protected/Kernel mode support over time.
