Hello Yannick,
All recent Moodle plugin tests/fixes were made using OM 2.2.
Plugin code + OM code was fixed to work as expected (you can check recent
sources)
We are currently preparing release of 3.0 and I will be glad to hear about any
issues you have with 3.0, I believe it works as expected.
NuSOAP is used historically, since all plugin code was written before PHP 5.3+
was available.
I can try to add some trigger to switch between libraries, but unfortunately I
have no time for this :(
Maybe I can do it during NY weekend (10 days in Russia)
