Review comment:
       Right, that makes sense. It should be possible to do it within the 
constructor of `SendUpdateToTableOperatorImpl`. The only way to do that is to 
expose the `BatchProvider` from the `RemoteTable` and check if it is an 
instance of `CompactBatchProvider`.
