Thanks for the quick follow-up, and I appreciate the clear plan. That sounds like the right direction: first make the compatibility detection reach the real source/sink runtime path, then keep the dialect initialization logic consistent and stateless. Since there is still no new commit after the latest Daniel review yet, I am not starting another full re-review on the current revision in this round.
