The Oracle-specific SCN startup path looks much clearer than documenting file/position offsets for Oracle. One compatibility point to call out: this PR also narrows `stop.mode` documentation and option handling to `never`. If existing Oracle CDC users could previously set `stop.mode=latest` or `specific` even if it was not meaningful, it may be worth adding a migration note or an explicit validation test that shows the new failure mode is intentional. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
