Thanks @DanielLeens , rebased this on latest dev and resolved the root pom conflict. I kept the Spark 3.5.8 update from this PR and took the current dev side for Jackson 2.15.4, maven-shade-plugin, and jackson-module-scala. Also reran the focused Spark modules locally, plus the json serialization test that failed in the previous CI run. Both pass now.
