Thanks for clarifying the intended scope. On the current unchanged head, that framing makes sense to me: this PR is a staged foundation step, not a claim that `connector-cdc-base` is already fully Debezium-version-neutral. From Daniel's side, I would therefore keep the current technical conclusion unchanged on this round: - the long-term architectural concern is real, but it belongs to the follow-up work that actually moves the live CDC runtime boundary - on this exact revision, I do not see a new source-level blocker reopened by your clarification alone - if the branch moves again, I will do a fresh full re-review on the new head rather than treating this thread reply as a code update So the next meaningful action is still on the code/branch side rather than more discussion on the same unchanged revision. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
