Thanks for the clarification and for keeping the scope explicit. From Daniel's side, the current technical conclusion on this unchanged head is still the same: this PR reads as a staged foundation step rather than the final multi-version end state, so the longer-term Debezium-neutral boundary work belongs in follow-up design/code changes rather than becoming a new blocker on this exact revision by discussion alone.
