Hi @Theralux, thanks for offering to help, and welcome. Quick status on this one: @zhang-arvin volunteered earlier and already has an open PR referencing this issue that adds MySQL type-converter / type-mapper test coverage for connector-jdbc. That PR is still open and its build has not passed yet, so I don't want to assign a second owner or start a parallel implementation that would collide with it. @zhang-arvin, could you confirm whether you are still actively working on that PR and what is left to get the build green? @Theralux, the most useful next step would be to coordinate with @zhang-arvin directly on that PR: helping reproduce or diagnose the failing build is very welcome, but please don't duplicate the two test classes it already adds. The remaining goals of this issue (running the MySQL tests via Docker/Testcontainers in CI, broader JdbcCatalog/JdbcDialect and boundary-case coverage, and migrating related tests out of jdbc-e2e) can be split into a follow-up once the current PR lands. If the two of you agree on a non-overlapping slice, please post here first with: the exact test boundary, the existing test it complements, and the regression it is meant to catch.
