Opened draft #12610 as the focused replacement for withdrawn #12543. Native query metadata, unsigned boundaries and timestamp aliases are covered independently of #12508; table_path discovery is unchanged. Catalog and query-based Source regressions passed: 83 actual DuckDB JDBC tests, four Markdown tests and nine-module verification locally.
