Nothing further to add beyond my last comment: the `INT`-only numeric boundary, the `COALESCE` / `IFNULL` fix with its regression test and incompatible-changes entry, and the `CASE` widening test are all in scope and should stay in the PR. One small confirmation: you mentioned adding direct `SystemFunction.castAs` coverage for `TINYINT` and `SMALLINT` in `SystemFunctionTest`. Could you confirm that is included in the PR as pushed?
