Thanks @SEZ9 \u2014 the retry intent is already explicit on current head `c959fd1989`. In `mysqlcdc_to_mysql_with_sink_failure_recovery.conf:18-27`, the comment states that the injected trigger may still be present when replay starts, that replay can fail one more time, and that `job.retry.times = 3` provides the extra recovery headroom (with the configured retry interval).\n\nFor the other current-head pointers: queue-and-dispatch and both `running` branches are documented in `IncrementalSourceEnumerator.java:74-115`; the shared API contract is scoped in `SourceSplitEnumerator.java:41-58`; engine ordering is explained in `SourceSplitEnumeratorTask.java:241-247`; the running-path and exactly-once pre-run tests are `IncrementalSourceEnumeratorTest.java:41-82`; and the E2E failure wait, trigger cleanup and final convergence/cancellation checks are in `AbstractMysqlCDCITBase.java:245-289` and `:305-330`.\n\nThe two-minute waits are polling budgets; I am not presenting them as proof t hat injection itself takes two minutes.
