Hi, I'd like to claim the Split documentation rewrite in this tracker.
I checked the current dev pages (`docs/en/transforms/split.md`,
`docs/zh/transforms/split.md`) against `SplitTransformConfig`,
`SplitTransformFactory`, `SplitTransform` and `SplitMultiCatalogTransform`.
Both pages are still the four-column placeholder, and I found no existing
Split claim in this thread or an open rewrite PR. I also checked the open
docs-batch PRs (#13072, #13050, #12986, #12971, #12730, #12459) and none of
them touch `transforms/split.md`.
I'll update the two files in one documentation-only PR against `dev`:
- full five-column options table: `separator`, `split_field`,
`output_fields`, plus `table_match_regex`, `table_transform`,
`rule_match_mode` and common options
- one section per option, with types, required flags and defaults verified
against the factory's `optionRule()`
- the edge cases the current page does not document: null split value,
fewer parts than `output_fields`, more parts than `output_fields`, and
the fact that `separator` is a Java regex passed to `String#split`
- a multi-table section covering the transform-level rule and per-table
rules
- runnable examples in both English and Chinese, kept in sync
This will be documentation-only. Any code/doc mismatch I find while
verifying the behavior will be raised as a separate issue rather than
folded into this PR.
