Andrea Del Bene commented on WICKET-5769:
-----------------------------------------

Thank you Chris!

I think most of the work left to do is to port some missing pages that we have
on the current site. Some of them are linked in the Documentation page. For
most of them is a trivial task, little more than just copy and past them. Some
other may require a revision, for example
[this|http://wicket.apache.org/contribute/patch.html] where we don't mention
GitHub repository. I will add more information in the readme about the page
template we are using, so it's easier for people to start contributing.

> To track progress of [~martin-g]'s suggestion that we provide a way for the
> proposed site to be easily reviewed.
> Currently to review the site a person needs to clone the github repo then
> install ruby then install jekyll then run jekyll on the source pages to
> generate the website then finally open the pages in a browser.
> I agree with Martin - the process of reviewing the proposed new site should
> not be that hard. ie. either provide screen shots or someone could host the
> pages on a server whose URL we publish to anyone who wants to preview the new
> site design.
