Yes, committing them together was the plan. I kicked off a pre-commit run for
HADOOP-12875 right after committing HADOOP-12666. There are some pre-commit
warnings to address, but more significantly, there is now Steve's -1. Let's
please move discussion of that part to HADOOP-12875.
In retrospect, I suppose I could have moved this faster by pre-flight a
consolidated HADOOP-12666 + HADOOP-12875 patch through pre-commit.
