You may also want to keep an eye on HADOOP-13037, which proposes rewriting much
of the ADL code currently in Apache Hadoop trunk. That one is currently
targeted to version 2.9.0. There is no specific date set for this release yet.
The back-end infrastructure for ADL is accessible right now in preview form.
It's possible to get an Azure account, provision an ADL instance, and run the
tests against that.
