If aliyun-oss SDK shades its dep httpclient by relocating and renaming the
packages, I agree it should work and can avoid the conflict we met with the
different httpclient versions used in Hadoop elsewhere. Thanks for the good
suggestion!
bq. What are the differences we need to resolve for the 2.9.1 hadoop-oss.jar to
be usable in a 2.7 cluster?
For 2.7, we have to use a lower version of aliyun-oss SDK to match with the
right version of httpclient library used in 2.7. But as you suggested above,
this can be avoided if Aliyun OSS team would shape the SDK incorporating the
httpclient library by shading.
Let me sync up with them to make the Hadoop side easier. Thanks Chris.
