To be clear, it's already in the HA branch by virtue of having been in trunk
before the HA branch was created. Do you want me to revert it from trunk?
bq. I don't have specific changes in mind but I would like to connect this up
to DNS, ZK and IP based fail-over and see how
apis meet the needs. The branch is a good place to evolve it. Further as we
plug the NN rpc interface it will help us
validate the idempotent attributed added by this jira.
I totally agree. I look forward to implementing those and seeing how this API
evolves to suit.
