Thanks for the explanation. Took a closer look, the SASL retry here is not for
connection -- the connection is already established. It is for SASL
authentication. So how about changing the new conf key to
ipc.client.connect.max.retries.on.sasl.authentication.failures, or simply
ipc.client.connect.max.retries.on.sasl?
