I believe that the classpath type approach has value but I don't think that I
would be opposed to adding a an additional signature to the factory to look up
a provider by specific URI. I assume that by KeyCredentials you mean
CredentialProvider. In that case, adding such a method to each factory would be
fine by me.
To be clear though - I do not want to see the provider.path approach to go away.
[~owen.omalley] - do you have any problem with adding a provider specific
lookup method?
