Right on. The act of complaining alone makes one "active". This isn't kicking anyone out, it's just removing CVS access to avoid giving the impresssion that there are 70+ people actively making changes to the jakarta-commons CVS tree, when more that 20% of those people haven't made any commits. I'm more than happy to acknowledge any sort of activity as making one an active committer. In fact, simply indicating that one would like to be considered an active committer is more than enough for me. If someone who hasn't made any commits in a year would like to retain access anyway, just say so. If we remove access now and such a person would later like to have access once again, just say so. "Emeritus committer" is the same as "committer", except for what's listed in the avail file (the thing that will tell you don't have sufficient "karma" to commit to the repository). A simple post to the list will get one added back into that list. This is an entirely reversible action. > --- Noel - Rod <http://radio.weblogs.com/0122027/> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
