Are you guys fully tested? Should I cut a release now this weekend?

Why don't you push out a snapshot and then just use that dated
snapshot? Then we can do a real release when you're ready...

Hi all,
Hope you all know that we are in the process of releasing Axis2 1.0, the
big one :). So we never know we might find another bug or improvement in
schema, policy of axiom. What I propose is to have release candidates of
these, until we release Axis2.
This is what now we do with Axiom and policy. This has advantage of not
having the over head of releasing a proper release. For example, when we
need a new version of schema for the next RC of Axis2, we need to do a
vote, then Dan or some release manager needs to update the docs, change
some discrepancies, etc ., But releasing RCs do not have this cumbersome
procedure and its fast (and hopefully safe too :))
If this is approved I can help to release the RCs whilst Dan may
continue to help by releasing proper releases.
Thanks,
Chinthaka

Hi all;
Axis2 has hard dependency on XMLScheam and we are planning to do the
1.0 release very soon (1st of May). And its not good idea to do the
1.0 release with SNAPSHOT dependencies. It will be great if we can
have XMLSchema release before 1st of May,
here is my +1 on doing release before above mentioned date.
+1 .. Dan can you oblige again please? Thanks!!
Sanjiva.
+1. I can cut it on Tues I think. Does that work?
