Yes, that should work. You may want to set the
preemptive authentication flag on the method, to
avoid an "authentication required" response for
the initial request.

nun mal auf deutsch weil mein englisch an seine grenzen kommt.

sollte das doch gehen oder?
was ich will ist, mich an einen websever(linux), der mit .htaccess -datei
geschützt ist anmelden.
