Independently of the misquote, I would like to apologize for being careless in associating your name with a reputedly unclean animal even if I "just" quoted (or misquoted) you.
No apology needed. I made the original association, for better or worse, and it seems like I'll be reminded of it every now and again. You're use of it was fine (especially since you stated that you didn't think I was!)
