There was a group of people in some major American city a year or so ago that played a city-wide game of PacMan using GPS-enabled phones... teammates would lead the 'ghost' characters to where the PacMan character was, and so on. Got a fair bit of press.
I'm excited at what the Freerunner will be capable of in this regard, as it would be FAR easier to write/play GPS games with an open phone.
