Hi Kirk,
101 ;) i agree we need a hotline for really urgent requests.
I´m pretty sure you´ve heard about the Opencast meeting in Oxford
(Jan/Feb)[1]. Please join! This is a good opportunity to get in touch and
hopefully also get some help if you struggle alone with our hydra.

Markus

> The app is initially pointing at publicy availabe Matterhorn recordings
> from the University of Osnabrück (+ our Matterhorn project demo server).
> Users of the application can simply switch to a different Matterhorn
> installation (your instance) in the software settings -> if the instance
> has been announced ;)
> Announcing can be done by simply adding your installations search endpoint
> (url to your videos) to the Opencast adopters database. After this entry
> students can use the app and also watch your universities recordings on
> their devices.
> To announce your installation, simply write an email to Rüdiger Rolf [2],
> include your url and your recordings will be also available in the
> application.

> We are currently making sure to inlcude all of Apple´s recommendations
> regarding the review guidelines to finally also release the app in the
> Apple store. There are still some open questions to answer like network
> connectivity (warranted audio/video quaility settings) and Apple´s http
