I did not mean to claim chalk boards would be _common_, just that they would not disappear completely. The people who still use them have them because they like them. I do claim that the AutoAuditorium System has been "future proof" because it does unpopular things like shoot the screen with a camera instead of taking the projector signal and turning it into video. Because AutoAud uses a camera to look at the screen it does not matter how the image gets up there. Existing installations have dealt with overhead projectors, 35 mm slide projectors and about 5 generations of graphics projectors without needing to modify or upgrade the AutoAuditorium equipment. And modern HiDef cameras make the old image quality loss of shooting a screen with a NTSC camera pretty much go away. -- Mike Bianchi Foveal Systems 973 822-2085 [email protected] http://www.AutoAuditorium.com http://www.FovealMounts.com _______________________________________________ Community mailing list [email protected] http://lists.opencastproject.org/mailman/listinfo/community To unsubscribe please email [email protected] _______________________________________________
