Steve Conrad <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I know nothing about this browser A quick recap
    please...

>From the wannaBe "Read Me":

WannaBe is a limited text-only web browser for PowerPC
or 68k Mac OS computers, written by David T. Pierson
<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. WannaBe should run under
MacOS 7.5 and later versions, and may also run under
System 7.1 if the Drag Manager and Thread Manager are
installed. (Drag and Thread Managers are available thru
    <http://asu.info.apple.com/swupdates.nsf/>). It also
requires Color Quickdraw, which is available on all
PowerPC and 68k Macs except those with the original
Motorola 68000 processor. WannaBe requires Internet
Config 2.0 or later, which is available thru the WannaBe
    download page at <http://mindstory.com/wb2/download.html>.
WannaBe is free, but not yet feature-complete or fully
tested. The latest version and information regarding
WannaBe can be found at the WannaBe home page,
    <http://mindstory.com/wb2/>.

WannaBe is alpha-quality. WannaBe is still in the
development stage, and has not been fully tested. Some
features that may be considered essential to web
    browsers are not included.

Marshall H. Lewis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

I've tried WannaBe (68K) two times on a pretty decent
SE/30, but it has messed up Open Transport both times. I
have had to reinstall (and trash WannaBe...)

I have never had any problems with wanneBe on either my PowerMac or my
Quadra. I've never hooked my SE/30 up the the Net, but FWIW I use
Navigator v3 on it.
