If you have used OSX on a non G3/G4 mac (604e), you'd agree with 
Apple's argument to buy new faster hardware. Apple doesn't make G3/G4 
upgrade cards and therefore cannot support those made elsewhere.

I'm sure Sonnet supports their software just as they support their 
hardware, that's what you get for paying for something that should be 
free;) If Sonnet, or other upgrade companies, cannot maintain 
long-term compatibility with OSX, they will all go out of business.

Instead paying $30 to experiment with Sonnet's software, you might 
try a freeware solution that covers most cards from most brands. This 
just get OSX working with your card. You'll also need the utility to 
configure the L2 cache available from the same place below.
