Jim, I had the same problem. My solution was TransMac on my PeeCee. Then
I could get Stuffit 5.5 on a MAC disk from the PeeCee.  Now, as long as
the .sea, or .hqx file will fit on a floppy, you can transfer it to the
MAC, then expand it, then it will work, in what ever way it needs to. 
This is how I make image files for my MACs.  I am going to use Mosaic
this afternoon to see if it will work with AOL, then I can bypass all of
the above nonsense, and pain.
