Right, but that's not DHCP. I think that's MacIP, and it might be
something else.
Regardless, the problem is likely at the router end in this case - it
sounds like the router isn't supplying the SE with the proper type of IP
address. If a fixed IP addy can be given, go with that and see if it works.
