Hello there macaddicts!
My name is Angelo, 22 years old, and I'm sending you this e-mail from Athens, greece! A couple of days ago I've bought a macintosh plus (1MB RAM, without a hard disk). I've downloaded a lot of programms from the internet to my iMac revA , but I'm having a hard time transfering them to the plus. Here is the case: I've borowed an external floopy drive from a friend, but the options that it gives me if I insert a blank disk, is to mount it (I use the greek OS, so forgive me for any errors in the translations of the terms) as an HFS, a DOS, or a PRODOS disk. Either way, the plus still cant read the disks. Can you give me any tip to solve this problem? The plus doesn't have a superdrive, and it is sort of impossible to find 800K disks in the shops! Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards, @ngelo -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
