This is where I would (and did) move away from the Mac architecture. Set up
a dedicated, dual-homed, i386-platform, GNU/Linux box as a firewall/router.
Once you get it set up, it will run without keyboard, mouse, or monitor.
For example, mine is a 200mhz Pentium with 64M memory, a 2G hard drive, and
2 3com 10mbps NICs. Our peers over on LowEndPCs should be able to provide
all the specs for this type of machine.
