This is probably in the FAQ, but probably not from everyday
Joes; I have an SE/30 with 20M of RAM, and am running 7.1 on
it currently. Is there any advantage of upgrading to 7.5.X,
or any disadvantages? The main advantage I saw was the
menubar clock, but Superclock took care of that for me.
(Also worked on my SE running 6.0.8 and 7.0.Tuneup) I can't
think of a program that would require 7.5 that would run on
a mono-bit screen, and don't really see any system or finder
things that I can't do without (though Windowshade would be
nice!)

RAM shouldn't be a problem, as I ran 7.5 on my first Mac
(7100) for years with only 16M. Hard drive space is also not
much of an issue, I've got a 500M external that is less than
1/2 full, and that includes some backup software for my
Powerbook.

I guess what I'm interested in is what systems do you guys
or gals use on a similiar system and why? A second question
would be what utilities (system or otherwise) do you use on
your similiar system and why?

I thank you for constructive responses,

J White
