(Sorry, listmoms, but I'm not on the Powerbook list
and I think this deserves *IMMEDIATE* attention.)

Is it possible for a computer to go berzerk? I mean,
a computer *not* running Windows? My PB145 (sys. 7.1,
etc.) has just (in the last 10 minutes) started to
make a loud, annoying buzzing sound, won't recognize
any disk AT ALL, dies when I pull the battery out
(even though it's PLUGGED IN) and the screen flickers
for no apparent reason.

Is the monitor going to start twisting around and
projectile vomiting on me now? (Because THAT WOULD BE
COOL!!) Is there anything wrong or that I can do?

I have NEVER seen this in Windows before.

Jake
