Can anyone tell me what s/w I should use for SE/30's (currently running OS
7.5.5) that could do some sort of "system check"? Ability to test the memory
would be good also, as well as some way of quantifying the "speed" of the
system.

I'd really like to be able to perform some sort of standard speed test to
quantify what improvements, if any, are made by changing system configurations
(ie OS choice, HD size, amount of memory, disk cache, and virtual memory
settings).

Also I have a M1025 mono monitor hooked up to my LC475 (with full FPU :-). I
love the monitor but it has minor distortions in its picture that I'm trying to
tweek out by playing with the magnets (very fiddly :-P). Is there s/w that would
give me a "test" picture" that would help? Anybody know where I could get a
service manual.

Thanks,
       John
