Life is extremely processor/RAM intensive.  It's been around since the 
late seventies. Used to use it on Digital hardware just to make the 
processor heat up... ;o)

I'm not a programmer not have I decompiled it, so I can't tell you 
exactly what pieces it exercises.  For a specific RAM test, get 
Ramometer. If a google doesn't turn it up, p-mail me.
